President Duties
The President shall serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors having duties similar in scope to any other corporation
and is responsible for the ongoing business of the Association and its duties to the individual members. Attendance at all
Board of Directors meetings is an absolute requirement and only those who are willing to devote the necessary time to the
administration of the Associations’ Affairs should agree to serve in such capacity. Unexcused absences are a serious
offense and 3 unexcused absences constitute resignation from the Board of Directors.
In this responsible leadership position, the President shall have specific duties as follows:
Shall be a REALTORŪ member of the Association whose dues, fees, and fines have been paid in full.
Presides at meetings at the Board of Directors and at all Executive Committee meetings. In case of a tie vote on any
motion before the Board, the President may cast the deciding vote.
Shall be an ex-officio member of all committees.
Maintains close working relationship with the Association Executive.
Signs checks, as required or needed, for goods and services to the Association.
Appoints all committee chairs for the approval of the Board of Directors.
Attends as many committee meetings and association functions as possible.
Officially welcomes new members into the Association.
Shall be available to attend the NAR and TAR Conferences and other such meetings.
As President, for December Board of Directors meeting, invite incoming Board Members to sit in on meeting [in a non-voting
capacity].
The President may appoint special committees and/or task forces for the following programs and events, as well as others,
as deemed necessary:
TREPAC Committee
Core Standards Committee
MLS Committee
Finance Committee
Nominating Committee
As a member of the Board of Directors, it is your task to look at each issue for the good of the membership in its entirety
and not as an individual. When serving on the Board of Directors you are committing to the good of all concerned and not
as an individual office, gent or broker.
Vice President Duties
The Vice President shall be actively engaged in the fulltime activity of the real estate profession. Attendance at all
Board of Directors meetings is an absolute requirement and only those who are willing to devote the necessary time to the
administration of the Association affairs should agree to serve in such capacity. Unexcused absences are a serious offense
and 3 unexcused absences constitute resignation from the Board of Directors.
The Vice President shall have specific duties as follows:
Shall be a REALTORŪ member of the Association whose dues, fees, and fines have been paid in full.
Shall be elected annually and shall serve a term of one year.
Shall attend Association meetings and functions of the Association.
Shall serve as Affiliate Liaison.
Shall secure programs and speakers for regular Membership Meetings/Luncheon.
Programs submitted to the Board of Directors by February Board of Directors Meeting. Meetings are as follows:
January: Annual Business Meeting--No Program
February: TREPAC Event--No Program
March: Program & Winter Meeting Report by TAR Director
April: Program
May: Program

Secretary Duties
The Secretary shall be actively engaged in the fulltime activity of the real estate profession. Attendance at all Board

of the Association’s affairs should agree to serve in such capacity. Unexcused absences are a serious offense and
3 unexcused absences constitute resignation from the Board of Directors.
The Secretary shall have specific duties as follows:
Shall be a REALTORŪ member of the Association whose dues, fees, and fines have been paid in full.
Shall be elected annually and shall serve a term of one year.
Presides at meetings of the Board of Directors.
Signs checks, as required or needed, for goods and services of the Association.
Keep official records of meetings of the Association that shall have any importance to records. Minutes should include
but not limited to the following:
Kind of meetings [i.e.-luncheon, board of directors, etc.]
Date, time and location of meeting.
Who was present at the meeting.
Whether or not the previous months minutes were approved.
Roberts Rules of Order will be followed for meeting.
Copy of minutes will be submitted to the AE in a timely manner, prior to the next meeting.
Attends as many Association functions as possible.

Directors Duties
The Directors shall be actively engaged in the fulltime activity of the real estate profession. Attendance at all Board

of the Association’s affairs should agree to serve in such capacity. Unexcused absences are a serious offense and
3 unexcused absences constitute resignation from the Board of Directors.
The Directors shall have specific duties as follows:
Shall be a REALTORŪ member of the Association whose dues, fees, and fines have been paid in full.
Shall be elected and serve a 3 year term.
Serve as the governing body of the Association.
Establish policies as required or needed for the effective and efficient conduct of the affairs of the Association.
Take action on committee reports and recommendations as required.
Approve action taken by the Executive Board
Know the basic benefits of the Association Membership, promoting the Association at all times.
Attend as many Association functions as possible.

MLS Committee
The President shall appoint three REALTORŪ members of the Association to serve as the MLS Committee. Members are appointed
annually and serve a one year term. Additional members to be appointed as needed.
Committee members shall be REALTORŪ members of the Association whose dues, fees and fines have been paid in full and actively
engaged in the real estate profession.
Duties of Committee:
Send out notifications of tour no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Enforcement of rules. The committee will present information regarding complaints/violations to the Association AE.
The AE will then inturn present the matter to the Executive Board. All complaints must be detailed, including but not limited
to, all parties involved in said complaint/violation.
Educate and inform members of any changes or updates related to MLS Policies.
Work closely with the AE to oversee the MLS for updates and technology needed to operate MLS.
As a member of the MLS Committee, it is your task to look at each issue for the good of the membership in its entirety
and not as an individual. When serving on the MLS Committee you are committing to the good of all concerned and not as an
individual office, agent or broker.
Core Standards Committee
The President shall appoint three REALTORŪ members of the Association to serve as the Core Standards Committee. Members
are appointed annually and serve a one year term. Additional members to be appointed as needed.
Committee members shall be REALTORŪ members of the Association whose dues, fees and fines have been paid in full and actively
engaged in the real estate profession.
Each Association in the United States is required by NAR to perform at least 4 activities per year for certification.
If these are not met, associations have their Charter revoked.
The AE will provide Committee with a guideline outlining the process along with examples.
As a member of the Core Standards Committee, it is your task to look at each issue for the good of the membership in its
entirety and not as an individual. When serving on the Core Standards Committee you are committing to the good of all concerned
and not as an individual office, agent or broker.
TREPAC Committee
The President shall appoint three REALTORŪ members of the Association to serve as the TREPAC Committee. Additional committee
members can be appointed as deemed necessary.
Committee members shall be REALTORŪ members of the Association whose dues, fees and fines have been paid in full and actively
engaged in the real estate profession. Members are appointed annually and serve a one year term.
Purpose is to educate and increase awareness for TREPAC and other Governmental Programs to ensure member understanding
of the importance and benefits of TREPAC.
Encourage brokers and members to participate in NAR Calls for Action.
Work closely with the Association AE to organize, initiate and coordinate TREPAC fundraisers.
As a member of the TREPAC Committee, it is your task to look at each issue for the good of the membership in its entirety
and not as an individual. When serving on the TREPAC Committee you are committing to the good of all concerned and not as
an individual office, agent or broker.
Nominating Committee
The President shall appoint 3 REALTORŪ members of the Association to serve as the Nominating Committee. They shall be
presented to the Board of Directors and voted on in the August meeting.
Committee Members shall be a REALTORŪ member of the Association whose dues, fees and fines have been paid in full and
actively engaged in the real estate profession.
The duties of a Nominating Committee:
Is to find the best candidate for each office. Persons serving on the committee can be nominated for office.
Process:
AE will send out an email to all members with job descriptions and requesting volunteers and/or suggestions for the Nominating
Committee to consider. After deadline for submission of names, all names submitted will be forwarded to the Chairperson of
the Nominating Committee via email.
The Chairperson will then schedule with the AE a meeting time to be held at the Association Office. ALL MEETINGS ARE
CONFIDENTIAL.
The Committee shall meet and carefully review all nominations and requested positions and carefully select those they
think will do the best for each office. A committee member shall then contact said nominee to verify if he/she is willing
to serve if elected. Remember, this is not just a onetime meeting process.
Once a slate of officers and directors are decided, the Chairperson shall then notify the President and the AE via email.
At the Annual Meeting in October, this committee will also serve as Counting Committee
